Sonia became a member of our Veterinary Technician team in July, 2022. She has resided in Ventura County her entire life and brings 16+ years of veterinary experience with her, having worked in various settings, including general practice, intensive care, veterinary emergency, and internal medicine. Along with her experience comes her lifelong love of animals and desire to do whatever she can to help them. Sonia especially loves to see the relief on pet parent’s faces when we are able to help their beloved pet.

When away from work, Sonia loves to garden, including finding rare species of plants and watching them grow. She also enjoys pier walking, hiking, and camping. Movie nights are also a favorite activity of hers along with spending time with her husband Ruben and terrier mix “Ruby Rose.”
